We are made in the image of a self-giving, relational God, and so growth into Christ’s likeness happens when we engage in mutually life-giving relationships. In addition to being a great way to get plugged into the life of the church, joining a community group is one way to find and begin to build these meaningful relationships.
In a community group we gather together to get to know each other, pray for one another, and discuss Sunday’s scripture and sermon with an eye towards practical application. As we work out together what it looks like to follow Jesus in our everyday lives, we are better equipped to be a loving, healing presence in our local communities.
Community groups are typically led by 2-4 members of the Trinity community and meet weekly, 3-4 times a month, in a host home. Some groups are open to everyone and some are designated for particular age/stage demographics. You’re welcome to join anytime!
Community groups are on a break for the summer, but will launch again in the fall.
