We are excited to offer an opportunity for the Trinity community to engage the people of the Dominican Republic.

For the past seven years, Trinity has hosted a Staff Retreat in the Dominican Republic for our friends who teach at Makarios, a school in northern DR that we love and support. Makarios is primarily a school for under-resourced children in surrounding neighborhoods, while also serving as a resource aiming to strengthen families and build up leaders in the neighborhoods where the kids attending the school live. The retreat (three nights/four days) involves time for the Makarios team to be poured into spiritually, time to find rest and retreat, and time for them to be together in community.

We send a team from Trinity every year that gets to visit Makarios and the neighboring villages, then help execute the Makarios Staff Retreat. Join us from February 28- March 7, 2024 by applying here! Applications are due Sunday, November 10.
