We’re thrilled to invite members of the Trinity community to be part of a meaningful opportunity to serve and connect with the people of the Dominican Republic.

For the past seven years, Trinity has partnered with Makarios—a school in northern DR that serves under-resourced children and works to strengthen families and develop leaders in their communities. Each year, we send a team to support the Makarios Staff Retreat, a three-night, four-day gathering focused on rest, spiritual renewal, and community for the incredible educators who serve there.

This trip offers more than just travel—it’s a chance to build relationships, experience the vibrant culture of the DR, and play a vital role in encouraging and uplifting the Makarios team. Our time together will include visiting the school and surrounding communities, helping host the retreat, and walking alongside our Dominican partners in faith and friendship.
