Do you believe that God has something to say to you, to you specifically, about your particular circumstances? Do you believe you can hear the voice of the Lord? The primary way the Holy Spirit speaks to us is through the Word of God, the Bible. But the Bible is a difficult book to read, and so many of us have only learned to read it analytically. Lectio Divina, or “holy reading,” is an ancient Christian practice of reading scripture interactively, listening for how the Lord is speaking through his living Word into the context of our daily lives.
