Lazarus Health Day
Lazarus Health Day is an annual event where the community comes together to provide free medical resources for our friends experiencing homelessness. There are many ways you can participate! Doctors and nurses are certainly needed, but you don't have to be a medical professional to participate. All you need is a willingness to come and be a part of something meaningful and fun. Volunteer sections range from Art and Clothing to Food and Hospitality to Kids and Job Prep... extra hands helping Setup, Cleanup, and Teardown are always welcome too! Engaging Homelessness Class
Attending the upcoming Engaging Homelessness Class on Monday, September 22 at Trinity is a great way to prepare for Health Day. Lazarus founder Allison McGill will share personal stories and practical tips from her over two decades of engaging with people experiencing homelessness, focusing on lessons learned and a helpful approach. The goal is to help equip the church to come alongside these neighbors living on the margins with dignity and kinship. The night will end with time for Q&A for any specific questions. Register here.
