Ministry Plan
Our 2026-28 Ministry Plan outlines how we hope to live more deeply into Trinity’s Core Commitments and participate in God’s work.
Six strategic priorities will guide our focus over the next two years. The plan identifies practical ways our ministries will put those priorities into action.
A joyful community.
Strategic Priority 1
Cultivate Unhurried Spiritual Spaces
Core Commitment 1: Experience the love of God and life in the Holy Spirit.
Create space to slow down, receive God’s love, and grow in the life of the Holy Spirit. Through retreats, Encounter Worship Nights, seasonal resources, and welcoming spaces throughout our building, we want to help people practice rhythms of rest, prayer, and worship.
Practice Radical Hospitality
Strategic Priority 2
Core Commitment 2: Invite people into friendship with Jesus.
Grow a culture where each of us actively invites, welcomes, and includes others. This includes opportunities like Alpha, sharing stories of God’s work through everyday invitations, and making worship and Kids and Youth programming more accessible.
Strategic Priority 3
Embed a Shared Rule of Life
Core Commitment 3: Embody practices and postures that lead to the restoration of our whole person.
Develop shared rhythms that help us follow Jesus together and shape our daily lives. Through teaching, resources, and practices rooted in the church year, we’ll help adults, students, and families build sustainable rhythms of worship, prayer, community, and service.
Strategic Priority 4
Strengthen Relational Maturity Across Differences
Core Commitment 4: Make space for meaningful and reconciled relationships.
Learn to navigate differences with humility, curiosity, honesty, and love. Story Groups, workshops, Neighborhood Group equipping, and gatherings with other churches and ministry partners will help us grow in self-awareness, listen well, and practice reconciliation.
Activate Gifts in Every Season of Life
Strategic Priority 5
Core Commitment 5: Participate in God’s kingdom work by using our gifts locally and throughout the world.
Help every member discern their gifts and find meaningful ways to use them in their current season of life. Through classes, Trinity Teams, youth leadership development, and opportunities with our ministry partners, we’ll connect our time, talents, and resources to God’s work within Trinity and beyond.
Develop and Send Leaders
Strategic Priority 6
Invest in leaders and share what God has entrusted to Trinity for the good of the broader Church. This includes pastoral residencies, mentoring, ministry training, church planting, and sharing resources with other churches and organizations.
Grow in our calling as a Resource Church.
We all have a part to play.
This is a shared plan for the life of our church, and it will take all of us to bring it to life. Each of us has gifts, relationships, and everyday opportunities to help shape the community we’re becoming and participate in God’s work within Trinity and beyond. As you explore the plan, prayerfully consider: What might God be inviting me into in this season?
