2026 Spring Retreat
It was such a gift to have Ashley Mathews with us as she led us through the book of Jonah, inviting us to reflect on God’s mercy, our tendency to run, and the ways He meets us with compassion and grace. Find recordings of the sessions below.
Session 1
Trinity Spring Retreat 2026 - Saturday Morning
Ashley introduced Jonah as a story about the ways we run from God, ourselves, and the hard things we don’t want to face—and how God lovingly meets us there, inviting us into honesty, healing, and faithfulness.
Session 2
Trinity Spring Retreat 2026 - Saturday Afternoon
Through the storm and Jonah’s time in the belly of the fish, Ashley reflected on how God often meets us in places of despair, using even painful or disorienting seasons to wake us up, draw us toward Himself, and begin the work of renewal and resurrection.
Session 3
Trinity Retreat 2026 - Sunday Morning
In our last session, Ashley explored how God’s mercy challenges our own bitterness, inviting us to release resentment, face our pain honestly, and learn to walk in the costly, sacrificial love revealed most fully in Jesus.
