Alarmingly, Atlanta has one of the largest underground sex economies (stripping, prostitution and trafficking) in the country. Many of the girls victimized by this industry are first exploited between the ages of 12 and 14 years old. Their abusers often prey upon them using violence, manipulation, and drugs as tools for control—trapping them in a vicious cycle of exploitation and addiction. The world of online pornography also plays a major role in feeding this dark and destructive industry. This is an evil warping of God's plan for flourishing people, relationships and communities.
