Hey families,
As Kris announced on Sunday, thanks to the generosity of this community and the success of our recent Capital Campaign, we’ve reached an exciting next step: we’ve officially hired a General Contractor, and preparations for our next round of renovations are underway!
Some details—permits, full timelines, and logistics—are still being finalized, but we want to share how Kids & Youth programming will adjust during the construction process.
Demolition and prep work will begin Monday, August 25. Then, starting Labor Day weekend and continuing throughout the fall, construction will begin for the purpose of creating more specialized and flexible spaces for the next generation. This added capacity will help us better disciple the growing number of young people among us!
We know change brings challenges. Saying goodbye to familiar spaces and adjusting rhythms can be tough. But our team has worked hard to plan interim Sunday experiences that minimize disruption and keep discipleship thriving throughout the process. Please see below for more specifics and know that we’ll continue to update you along the way.
Thank you for your grace and patience as we prepare new Kids & Youth spaces downstairs and a new Chapel upstairs. Because of your generosity, your prayers, and your steadfast support, this project is more than construction—it’s a tangible expression of our mission to make space for people to meet Jesus. We can’t wait to share the finished spaces with you!

Important Dates
Monday, August 25 – Demo on existing Kids & Youth spaces begins.
Sunday, August 31 (Labor Day weekend) – Family Service:
Normal programming for Birth-Pre-K.
Kindergarten and up worship in the Sanctuary.
Lower Café open as an overflow space with live video of the services.
Sunday, September 7 - Programming adjustments begin for some elementary classes.
Trinity Kids
Beginning September 7: Some elementary classes will shift to meeting in the Meeting Room and old offices upstairs.
Check-in and Pick-up continue downstairs as normal for all ages (even if your child meets in the Meeting Room).
After check-in these ages will gather in the Meeting Room:
9am – 2nd–5th grade
11am – 4th–5th grade
If your child's age isn't listed above, there will be no changes for now.
Trinity Youth
Reminder: No 9am MS Youth.
Beginning September 7 – MS will be dismissed from the Sanctuary during the 11am service. September 21 and 28 they will gather in the Trinity Backyard. All other Sundays, they will head across the street to meet in a soundstage at PC&E. They will return to the Sanctuary during communion.
Students will be supervised crossing both ways; safety procedures are of utmost importance and will be in place.
