Spring Retreat
Our annual Trinity Spring Retreat takes place on the first weekend of May 1-3, 2026, in the beautiful North Georgia mountains at SharpTop Cove in Jasper, GA! Whether you’re single or married, have little ones, or are an empty nester, the retreat is a wonderful way to spend intentional time with friends or to make some new ones.
Who is the Trinity Spring Retreat for?
This weekend is for anyone who wants to slow down and reconnect—with God and with others. Whether you’ve been at Trinity for years or you’re still figuring out if this is your church home, this retreat is designed for you.
If you’re feeling spiritually dry and need renewal
If you’re new to Trinity and want to build relationships
If you’re craving deeper friendships beyond Sunday mornings
If you want intentional time away from noise and routine
If you want a shared experience centered on faith and fun
If you simply need rest
You don’t have to be a Bible expert. You don’t have to know many people. Just come as you are.

May 1-3, 2026!
Enjoy community.
The retreat is one of the best ways to find community at Trinity. Between small groups, free time opportunities, and cabin time, much of the retreat is built around creating connection. You will likely be in a cabin with others in a similar season of life, which is a fun way to foster new and old friendships. Then at meals and sessions, the retreat becomes a space where all ages and stages of our church body have time together.
Grow together.
Throughout the weekend, there will be four different session times when we will worship together, hear teaching, and then have time to reflect and unpack the content with others. While adults are in these sessions, Trinity Kids & Youth also have time to similarly worship together and unpack teaching… in the context of fun and community!
Rest and recharge.
Setting aside time to step away from your normal routine is so important in our life with God. Between sessions, free time is intentionally built into the schedule for you to use in whatever way you need—whether it be the optional group activities or simply reading a book. Hopefully, this unhurried time is a gift to you, and you leave the weekend refreshed.
Have fun!
Between sessions, there will be plenty of options for fun—hiking, board games, bonfires, SharpTop activities (pool, frisbee, golf, sand volleyball, zip line, giant swing, rope swing, etc.), or simply sitting with a cup of coffee and catching up with a friend.
Volunteer with Trinity Kids!
This retreat is a valuable discipleship opportunity for adults and kids alike! If you volunteer with kids on the retreat, you get to be part of their experience for the weekend and allow their parents to worship undistracted during the sessions. Volunteering with kids means that during each session, you will care for babies and toddlers or be with the elementary-aged kids in their worship and teaching sessions. You can expect lots of singing, dancing, laughter, games, and learning alongside our kids!
You will still be able to engage in meals, free time, and evening activities with everyone else! You can sign up to help at a single session or all three!
Single Session Volunteer: 25% discount
Double Session Volunteer: 50% discount
Weekend Volunteer: 75% discount
*If you are not a current Kids Volunteer, you will need to fill out a background check and watch two required training videos prior to serving on the retreat.

Accommodations are in comfortable rooms with a/c, bunks, and bathrooms/showers serving each bunk room or private room.
• Adults without children in their 20s/30s (single or married) are separated by gender into bunk rooms.
• Adults without kids above the age of 40 are in private rooms.
• Families whose children are all older than 4 are in shared bunk rooms divided by moms/daughters and dads/sons. The rooms are organized so that families are on the same hallway — and we have an "open door" policy so that moms and dads are able to be in the rooms at any time to help parent their children of the opposite gender. Families can request to share rooms with families you may know. Some families may be in private rooms depending on the number of registrants and available rooms.
• If you or one of your family members requires special accommodations for medical or personal reasons, single parents, etc., we would love to help accommodate your needs. Just let us know!
• Families with some or all children under 4 are will be in private rooms. If you are willing to share a private room with another family, please let us know, as this helps us maximize the number of beds used for the retreat.

All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are covered by the registration cost. When you register, there is a place to note any food allergies you may have. The SharpTop crew is wonderful about accommodating different dietary needs! All meals are communal and served in The Mill right in the heart of the camp.

The food at SharpTop is surprisingly delicious—not your typical camp food! We will provide snacks as well. But if you have a strict diet, there are fridges in certain cabins that you can have access to. Just let us know!
-
There is no doubt that going to something where you don’t know anyone is intimidating! We would encourage you to jump in and give it a go. Many ways we structure the retreat are with you in mind. We hope you will find people of a similar age and stage in your cabin to connect with immediately. We will have groups after the session where you can meet people as well. Mealtime is also a great opportunity to get to know people you would not otherwise! For many people, the retreat is a turning point where church begins to feel like a home—and we pray the same for you!
-
We do recommend coming for the whole weekend to have the most full and connected experience. But there is a Saturday Only Option! You can arrive on Saturday morning in time for the first session and stay as late as you’d like on Saturday evening.

We understand that plans can change! Our Spring Retreat refund policy is as follows:
100% refund if you cancel by April 1
50% refund if you cancel between April 2 and April 29
No refunds for cancellations after April 29
